How do I find a product?
|
MedixCorp.com allows you to find products 4 different ways:
- 1. Search by Item Name - If you know the name of the product that you are interested in viewing, then you can enter all or part of the name in the search field.
For example, if you want to look up the product, "Corning Vacuum Filter," then you can enter all or part of the product name in the search field. When the results from the search are displayed, select a product displayed in the results box and press the 'select' button to display detailed information about the product.
- 2. Search by Item Code - If you know the name of the MedixCorp.com item code for a product, then you can enter all or part of the item code in the search field.
For example, if you want to look up item code, "AAA-1111," then you can enter all or part of the item code. When the results from the search are displayed, select a product displayed in the results box and press the 'select' button to display detailed information about the product.
- 3. Browse By Category - On the right side of any product page you can browse by category of products (e.g., Blood Bank, Clinical Chemistry, etc.). When you click on the category, you will see all products that relate to that category displayed in a list with a product description accompanying each product. When you select a product from the list, you will see more detailed information about the product.
- 4. Browse the Entire Catalog - On the main catalog page is an option to browse all products in the catalog. The catalog lists the products in order alphabetically. When you see the product that you want displayed, select the product to see more detailed information about the product.

What if I can't find the product that I'm looking for?
|

If you searched for a product and cannot find it in the MedixCorp.com catalog, then contact us by phone or e-mail and we will work with you to help you find the product that you need.

How do I use the Quick Order feature?
|
Our quick order feature is a way for you to purchase multiple items without having to add them to your shopping cart individually. You can add as many items to your shopping cart using quick order as you wish, however you must enter them 5 (or less) at a time. After submitting up to 5 items, you will be taken to your shopping cart, where you can quickly link back to Quick order and enter up to 5 more, as many times as you want!
Quick order will ask you for 3 things about the item you want:
- 1. The item catalog # - We recommend you enter the MedixCorp.com catalog # to avoid any mismatches, however quick order will recognize most major manufacturer and competitor part #'s.
- 2. Quantity - How many of this item are you wanting to purchase?
- 3. Units - As some products come in different sizes, quick order will ask you to specify which you want. The most common units are cs (case), pk (pack) and ea (each).

How can I receive a hard copy catalog of all MedixCorp.com products?
|
|
MedixCorp.com does not have a hard copy catalog available at this time. We are constantly working to add new items to our on-line site at www.MedixCorp.com. If you are looking for a particular item that you cannot find on-line, please contact us and we will be happy to help you find it. Medix carries many more items then those available on this site and would be happy to work with you to find whatever you are looking for. You can also request an item on-line.

How do I place an order?
|
When you have found the product(s) that you want to purchase, you can select the 'Add to Cart' button, which will allow you to add the item to the list of products that you want to purchase for this order. You can add as many products as you would like to your cart for this order.
When you have finished adding products to your cart and are ready to begin the checkout process, you can select either the 'Items Added' link on a product page or the 'View Cart' button at the top of any web page.
Follow these easy steps to complete your order:
- 1. Review the items in your shopping cart to make sure that they are correct. Make sure that you have selected the correct quantity. If you change the quantity of any product(s), then select the 'Update Totals' button to display the updated pricing for your order.
If you want to purchase the item at a later time, then select the 'Buy Later' button.
After you finish modifying your order, select the 'Checkout' button to proceed to the 'Shipping Address' screen. NOTE - your order will not be completed yet and your credit card will not be charged.
- 2. On the 'Shipping Address' screen, you will select a shipping address from your address list or create a new address.
After you select the shipping address, select the 'Continue' button to proceed to the 'Shipping Options' screen. NOTE - your order will not be completed yet and your credit card will not be charged.
- 3. On the 'Shipping Options' screen, you will select your preferred method for shipping your order.
After you select your shipping option, select the 'Continue' button to proceed to the 'Payment Options' screen. NOTE - your order will not be completed yet and your credit card will not be charged.
- 4. On the 'Payment Options' screen, you will select a credit card from your payment options list or create a new payment method.
After you select the payment method, select the 'Continue' button to proceed to the 'Checkout Summary' page. NOTE - your order will not be completed yet and your credit card will not be charged.
- 5. On the 'Checkout Summary' page, you can review all of your selections for this order and make any changes. If you change any part of the order, then you will be returned to that step in the checkout process and will continue with all subsequent steps until you return to the updated 'Checkout Summary' page.
After you finish reviewing your selections, select the 'Place Order' button to place the order. Your order will be placed at this time. Your credit card will be charged when your order is shipped.
- 6. The final page is a receipt invoice which you can print for your records.

What is 'Buy Later'?
|
|
When reviewing products on MedixCorp.com, you may see products that you would like to purchase in the future. When you add a product to your cart, the product will initially be placed in a list of the products you want to purchase for your current order. When you select the 'Buy Later' button, the product is removed from the current order list and moved to a list of all items to be purchased in the future.

Do I have to purchase all items on the 'Buy Later' list at the same time?
|

No! With the 'Buy Later' option, you decide when you want to purchase each product.

How long will items remain on my 'Buy Later' list?
|
|
Items will remain on your 'Buy Later' list for as long as you are a member of MedixCorp.com.

How long will MedixCorp.com guarantee prices on my 'Buy Later' list?

MedixCorp.com will guarantee the same price on your 'Buy Later' list for 30 days.

The price of a product on my 'Buy Later' list was different at time of purchase than when I placed it on the list?

MedixCorp.com periodically needs to review its prices and you may have chosen to purchase an item whose price changed from the time you added it to your 'Buy Later' list.
