Description

Perfect for venipuncture, I.V. starts, renal dialysis, pre-op prep, and other minor invasive procedures. Non-irritating and virtually non-stinging for better patient comfort. PVP iodine provides longer germicidal activity than ordinary iodine solutions. Scrub swabsticks scrub away dead skin, dirt, and oil so prep pads and swabsticks can be more effective. Prep pads and prep swabsticks are saturated with a 10% povidone-iodine prep solution (equivalent to 1% available iodine) to provide proven antisepsis. Scrub swabsticks are saturated with a 7.5% povidone-iodine scrub solution with detergents (equivalent to 0.75% available iodine).
