Description
Available in two formulas, these clarifiers are designed to increase cell transparency and to remove the background stain caused by excessive tissue adhesive in the water bath. They do not affect nuclear stain when used as directed. 1-gal. size. Clarifier 1 is used with Hematoxylin Stains S7439-1 and -2 to improve the contrast between the nuclei and cytoplasm. Use in histology to help eliminate background staining; use in cytology to achieve more pure green and red hues in the cytoplasm.
